Hi all, trying to budget on an esc that I could possibly use for both touring car and pan car, eg core rc pace has anyone used one? Are they capable of doing both jobs well?

If you are going to racing in Touring Car then you are best going for a 2s ESC. I would go for a Hobbywing or Speedpassion ESC, they may be slightly more money but it will probably be a lot better quality.

Hi all, trying to budget on an esc that I could possibly use for both touring car and pan car, eg core rc pace has anyone used one? Are they capable of doing both jobs well? The Core esc will do the job you require if you intend running 'Blinky' mode in both classes, though there have been mixed reports about its reliability. I did read last night of a guy racing his Supastox in 1s configuration with a Hobbywing Justock esc (advertised as a 2s esc). Haven't tried it myself but here's the link if your interested www.facebook.com/groups/336445139755237/And here's the general comment made "..........I'm running a HW Justock. doesn't support 1S, but i'm running it on one and with no Booster! It just seems to work. 'Cheapy' Turnigy Cells, which i've got to sell as they're not BRCA Legal and i'm doing the National in a few weeks, so need at least one legal one for that. And i run a HPI/HB motor, which i've also seen people moan about! I run a gearing way too low, but it just works..." Like I say, haven't tried it on my Justock so can't vouch for its accuracy. Maybe someone else has? Paul
