What 'Blinky' software are people racing? Mine didn't seem very quick, even with advanced timing on the motor (10'). I'm pretty sure it was something like 'V1 No_Timing' that was installed on the ESC. Don't know if there is a newer one that is better?
The ESC is a SP GT 2.0.

V3.0_508_No Timing However just had a nightmare (Martin will testify) trying to tack this back off for running boosted at Mendip sunday gone. Had to run the spare esc and has taken me 2 hours this evening using all sorts of combinations of speed passion and hobbywing software to remove it.
Think i have it worked out now.
But to be honest got a JuSTock ESC to try this friday.

Ok cheers Stuart, I will give that a try next time. It won't bother me too much with removing the software once it's on there, as I intend to run Blinky at VWIC this winter.

Where about's do you find V3.0_508_No Timing? I've currently got V1_508_No Timing and the only V3 option I've got is V3_110323STOCK :S

So much easier when It was brushed.. Are you mad ;D ;D Have you forgotten the countless comm skims during a big meeting and the fact you would buy six motors and find only two of them would be on the pace. Brushless and Lipo's are the two best things that have happened to the sport over the last 15 years, unfortunately timed speedo's may be the worst Now what would be good is everything stoped at the gen 1 brushless speedo stage! I for one can only wish. You racing Friday Liam? If so looking forward to some close racing.

No Stu i wouldn't agree it was easier with brushless - it was slightly before your time, but it was me that pushed for brushless in minis at the club when everyone wanted to stick with silver cans.
I agree wholeheartedly with Martin.
